Topic Title:  After the Storm – Lessons Learned from Hurricane Michael

Location: The Egg & I Restaurant

1114 Thomas Drive, Panama City Beach, Florida

    Presented by: Karen Jones,PMP

IBM Regulatory and Cyber Program Manager

Bio: Ms. Karen Jones works as a Regulatory and Cyber Program Manager for IBM. In this role, Karen has a unique view across industries and countries to a wide array of cyber events and in addition, her teams work to develop strategies to strengthen security and keep up with ever-changing regulatory requirements.  Throughout her 19 years at IBM, she has served primarily in security and risk program and project management roles.  She has been a Project Management Professional (PMP) since August 2003 and is also an IBM Certified Executive Project Manager.

Since this will be our first meeting since Hurricane Michael devastated our community, it seems an appropriate time to reflect on some of the lessons learned that we can apply to future projects.  Karen will be sharing her observations and leading a discussion with the attendees.  Her goal is to enable attendees to improve resiliency, decrease recovery times, and encourage participation in corporate citizenship.
