The Navy's Renewable Energy Program Office  (REPO) project
at NAS Pensacola Saufley Field

Lt. Gordon will be speaking about the Navy's state-of-the-art Renewable Energy project, partnering with Gulf Power, to construct a solar PV array at Saufley Field and highlights of other energy project at NAS Pensacola.

Kristi L. Gordon

 Lieutenant Gordon is a native of Vicksburg, MS. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and was commissioned an Ensign in the Civil Engineer Corps in 2011.

Lieutenant Gordon reported to her first assignment as 1st Platoon Commander, Alfa Company, Naval Mobile Construction Battalion (NMCB) FIVE, Port Hueneme, CA in 2012. During the Battalion’s 2013 deployment, she served as the Detail Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Sasebo, Japan.

In 2014, Lieutenant Gordon reported to Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southeast, Public Works Department Naval Air Station Pensacola, FL where she currently works in the Facilities Engineering and Acquisition Division (FEAD) as a construction manager.

Prior to joining the Navy, Lieutenant Gordon worked as a civilian engineering technician with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC) Coastal and Hydraulics Laboratory (CHL) from 2000 – 2005 and the USACE Afghanistan Engineer District from 2005-2007.

Lieutenant Gordon is qualified as a Seabee Combat Warfare Officer. Her personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and other unit and service awards.
