Welcome to the PMI Emerald Coast Florida Chapter website!
Thank you for visiting and taking the time to learn more about PMI and our PMI chapter. 2019 will be an exciting year for our chapter and our membership. Our recently revised bylaws saw changes at the Chapter and branch/community levels by creating a strong Chapter board while maintaining a voting, director-level position at each of the four branches/communities.
For this year, our Chapter board has decided to create three volunteer positions to round out the board: Director, Military Liaison; Director, Web Operations and Social Media; and Director, Marketing and Sponsorship. At the moment, we are still taking volunteers for two positions on our board – VP Administration/Secretary and Director, Marketing and Social Media. If you’re interested in giving back to the chapter and would like to earn PDUs, please send your resume to [email protected].
We sincerely hope to see you at our events this year! Each month, our four communities will hold membership meetings with a variety of project management-related speakers and topics. Understanding that work and personal schedules can be unpredictable, we also plan to schedule multiple webinars throughout the year. In addition, in April, we host the Annual Spring Symposium in Niceville, FL and in November, we host an Annual Dinner that rotates annually to each branch/community. This year, the Annual Dinner will be held in Pensacola, FL.
